Recently I needed to get a lot of images from some pdf documentation file stored on my Mac. Copying and pasting each image was quite boring, so I searched for the tool allowing making this. It successfully can be used for extracting all the raster images from one or more pdf files and subsequent converting them to a variety of formats such as JPEG, GIF, JPG, BMP, PDF, TIFF, PSD, PICT, PNG and SGI with different resolution values from 72 to 2400 dpi.
