I like mac PDF Image Extractor

Recently I needed to get a lot of images from some pdf documentation file stored on my Mac. Copying and pasting each image was quite boring, so I searched for the tool allowing making this. PDF Image Extractor happened to be such a tool.  It successfully can be used for extracting all the  raster images from one or more pdf files and subsequent converting them to a variety of formats such as JPEG, GIF, JPG, BMP, PDF, TIFF, PSD, PICT, PNG and SGI with different resolution values from 72 to 2400 dpi.

It's really a user-friendly application, easy to use, having well designed and intuitive interface. The features of the product are rather impressive. The ability to handle multiple PDF files, navigate through the extracted images using navigation keys and keyboard shortcuts, and especially the batch conversion of all, or just certain images, was exactly what I needed. More convenience was in the possibility to customize the extracted images preview size, and also viewing the current PDF file, or selected image information. To be able to change the image export preference settings is also a nice feature, and especially the file name pattern setting among them.

What was especially nice, the product appeared to have some image editing functionality. You can apply image effects (change brightness, saturation, contrast, gamma and hue values), rotate all or selected images by the specified degrees, flip them vertically and horizontally.

Exporting images is also a fun. Just make this by clicking on the Save, or Save All buttons. There are four more convenience buttons: JPG, PNG, TIF, and ICNS (Apple icon format), saving the files being exported in the correspondent file formats. Say, you do not wish to change the export format preference setting, and in the same time you need different format for a particular image. Clicking on the convenience button will make this task with elegance.
